THE TABOO SELLERS

There are some materialists

Who would never try out a new material

And still thought that they knew the material world.

They never tried out the Spirit

Because they were materialists

And wouldn’t try out some spirit

Wouldn’t try out a man or woman on the street

Because they already ‘knew’ the material

How doubly impoverished  they where!

Oh! they cared so much for the matter 

And  for the spirit and for all people

That they had put a taboo on god

And tried to push a thing or two into his mouth

And now they have all the taboos for themselves

And the world is set free!
