RICH MAN, POOR MAN
Complained to God about his protection
And the need for betterment
God replied:
"I never was rich myself
And would spend my last pittance
And wait for God
So did most people who were poor.
When we complained the rich were without ears
Because they had a cash crunch
And had to book their ticket to heaven
They bribed the priests heavily
Thinking that with that thy could escape.
They made industries
Out of war, land, water and air
Birth, health,death,
Shame, fun, sex, food
Plants, animals,and human beings.
Everybody was affected
And was badly off
Because the property thies had made off
With all that earth could gather in riches
And kept it locked up in their dungeons or banks.
It didn't bother them when I was hungry
Or in need, except when they could sell me something
Or wanted me to do their dirty work
They even found ways to sell my good name in the market
While confining me to their shit-houses
Telling others that I had appointed some envoys to do so.
A man was thrown out from everywhere
And there was no space in their hearts or him
A woman was confined to her own home
Sold, or made into a slave
And they didn't bother
Children were thrown on the street
And the lot of God was no better.
Even of what the people would have liked to give me
For some work that i had done
Nothing was given
Because they thought that God shouldn't be paid.
When you had nothing to give me when i was in need,
Why do you expect me to give you anything?
When there is more
It is there for the needy
And when all that you have is spent
I hope we may meet on the street
And talk about settling the account
So good bye now!.
