DATES

Recently my palmist
Adviced me to have more dates
Since i am rich in vices
I took to his ads(advices)
And has planted
A date palm
In my yard.

But my neighbour thinks that dates are Arab
And come with thousand and one nights.
When the dates are ripe
Perhaps the time will come
For palm-wine drinkards
To rejoice and stretch themselves under the moon.
