There are some materialists who would premise
their argument on the absence of God But the material world is premised on
the micro structures of mutual attraction at its sub-atomic or nuclear level. As
Ulloor’s poetry has brilliantly put it: Padartha
nira than prathamaatmagunam parasparaakarsham” (The basic quality of the material
world is mutual attraction.). When we look at the ‘material’ at that level, we
will easily come to see that the material as we know it is not without God, and
that God gives this coherence to things. So the argument that there could be a separation
of the spiritual and material worlds, and that philosophy could be immanent and
separate from theology, or the thinking
about God and the world as in secularism, which proposes that Caesar be paid
his due, or that worldly authority be established and maintained(as in Immanuel
Kant) that premises the state upon it, is a false one, .
