So when matter
Was in its pure spirit
Love prevailed
In its particles
And cohesion held
Things together and in calm.

But when the godly
Was disturbed
The atom exploded
A space of war
Of deterioration
Of use to Power
To man, a user of all things.

In the new clear age
We may at least
Go Beyond the nuclear holocaust
 Because the spirit of God
Is in man
And the particle
Need not fall apart.
