SO(U)LITUDE
Where the soul could fit in, be at ease
In a crowd of believers or non- believers
It may be shouted about
For and against
But forgotten in the din
Or the singularity of the correct self
From which you struggle to differ
Because you know that you are you
And she, she
And that freedom is a question of options to choose from.
Maybe the 'U' in the bracket, the one that is unseen or absent
Presents itself as that you in whom you partake
Or from which other you diverge, the Absent-presence
In which difference comes forth
And I am 'ensouled', just as you are.
SO (U) LITUDE
Eenzaamheid is die enigste plek
Wees gemaklik waar die siel kan inpas
In 'n skare gelowiges of nie-gelowiges
